Bug Description
on upgrading from 11.10 to 12:04 this error message is displayed in the terminal part of the Distribution Upgrade window.

The upgrade to 12.04 didn't complete and the system complained that there were too many errors.
On a previous (VMware) installation and similar scenario the upgrade failed.
However, I managed to rescue my installation this time by running the following commands and ignoring the prompt to restart my computer: (in a terminal window) sudo apt-get -f update THEN sudo apt-get -f upgrade
My NX7400 has rebooted and the upgrade is in place as expected.
