Quickly fails if gedit is not installed

Bug Description

$ quickly edit
crashes if gedit is not installed.

This problem can be replicated with 11.04-0ubuntu1.1 on natty and 11.10-0ubuntu1 on oneiric.
It is related to but not a direct duplicate of #483917 .

$ EDITOR=gnome-text-editor quickly edit
works fine if a editor providing /etc/alternatives/gnome-text-editor is installed.
(i.e. leafpad)

quickly edit should chose a alternate editor if gedit is not present.
I.e. by using /etc/alternatives/gnome-text-editor instead of gedit.
A simple but bad workaround would be to let the package depend on gedit directly instead of "gedit | editor".

Since none of the editors providing /etc/alternatives/gnome-text-editor lists a virtual package named "gnome-text-editor" under "Provides:" we can not depend on that.
This should be changed!

It might also be a good idea to introduce /etc/alternatives/x-text-editor with the virtual package named "x-text-editor".

Reading the source code shows that, on a box without X-windows, quickly has a similar hidden dependency on nano.

gedit is not installed by default on kubuntu so there the problem exists too. quickly edit works fine after installing gedit.
