Quassel-client has no menu bar

Bug Description

I've just upgraded to artful, and quassel has no menu bar with which to access the menu items.
Tapping alt doesn't help.

Has the menubar here.

CRTL+M toggles it.

Thanks, that works for me too. That is not discoverable, however. Unless you can get to the keyboard shortcuts. Which are in the menu.

In addition, no menu is a bad default.

Does not seem to be the default here, on a artful ubuntu-gnome VM with
quassel installed fresh, or on a more native Kubuntu install. In both
cases, on startup the menubar is shown by default.

I've upgraded two computers from 17.04 to 17.10, and in both cases quassel hid the menu. So it might be that something in the version change causes it to happen.

The menu can also be re-enabled from the context menu in the chat view, i.e. right clicking the chat background.
This bug report is of course still valid, though.
