Notifications are shown forever

What I expected to happen:
Quassel shows OSD notifications which are going away after a few seconds

What happend instead:
Quassel osd notifications are sometimes shown forever. Following
notifications are queued up and will only be shown if Quassel was closed.
After closing Quassel all queued up notifications are shown after each other.

After some quick debugging with seb128 it seems Quassel is stuck on
sending the same notification over and over again:

Just discovered this myself tonight. Running 15.04 on multiple machines -- same issue with Quassel on all machines I tinkered with.
