Bug Description

I made the data package by "game-data-packager --install quake3 --demo".
Then I installed it by "dpkg -i".
That's all what I know.
Strace and outputs are attached.

Hi, thanks for the report. This is likely a local configuration with your quake3 engine of choice (ioquake3) and not an issue with your data package nor with game-data-packager. It would be helpful for further diagnosis if you could report whether you get a different framerate with different data, or what framerate you are expecting: I'm guessing you are suggesting that 8-10fps is too slow for your machine, but you haven't made that clear.

Yes, it's too slow for my machine.
In Setup->System->Graphics>Driver_Info I see "EXTENSIONS: Not available (core context, fixme).

There is an another bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openarena/+bug/1720493.
It might be related.
