Starting with pure zesty, the current lp:mir/0.26 (0.26.1 candidate code) seems to happily run every touch app I have tried (except webbrowser-app which is broken for its own reasons, and can't immediately test calendar-app which apparently doesn't exist in zesty).

Hmm and apparently no snap named `ubuntu-calendar-app' exists. How do I install it or any other app that exhibits this bug?

Best way is to use the "unity8-snap-install" script which installs all
of the snaps for the core apps.

Thanks. Unfortunately I still can't reproduce this bug, seeing other problems instead.

With ubuntu-calendar-app and webbrowser-app I get bug 1663125. However that is not new to Mir 0.26.1, or 0.26.0. Same problem happens with Mir 0.25 too.

It's possible the EGL crash you report is actually related to the apparmor problem preventing webbrowser-app from working for some people -> bug 1590561
