Click sound taking a photo

It would be interesting to be able to turn off the sound click when a photo is taken.

I'd be interested in this too. But, note there are legal implications. I believe in some countries it is against the law to disable the sound. So, this option would need to be hidden in certain countries, or atleast include a warning reminding the user to check the law in their country or similar. Probably best if Canonical's lawyers can advise on this before anything is implemented.

I think this is different because it only affects to camera.

The bug 1424147 is about a general silence. But this one is only of the camera, with i's own menu.
