I get this too under i386. The crash happens trying to save any HDR - even if I load an HDR saved with the previous working version under Jaunty and then try save it again I get the crash. This looks to be the same bug as #536666 filed in Debian back in July: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=536666

I downgraded to jaunty libopenexr6 ( http://packages.ubuntu.com/jaunty-updates/libopenexr-dev ) and compiled qtpfsgui-1.9.2 from sourceforge and it worked again.

Steps:

sudo apt-get build-dep qtpfsgui # install stuff needed to build the package
http://sourceforge.net/projects/qtpfsgui/files/ # get qtpfsgui-1.9.2
Unpack, qmake, make
I don't like to install unsupported packages in with my other files so I just run it from the build directory ./qtpfsgui and it works.

False alarm, EXR saving did not work, but no segfault. I was able to save to HDR though.

Downgrading qtpfsgui to jaunty worked for me though. Now I can save EXR images again.

this bug makes qtpfsgui not working. In Ubuntu 9.04 it worked with no problems.

Debian bug has a patch from qtpfsgui trunk that applies cleanly, maybe that could be used?

Hi. I produced 1.9.3-1.1 in Debian, which should fix this bug. Now it is also in Ubuntu: could you please try if it solves this bug?

I've tried to install it from Maverick but I can't :
    Erreur : Dépendance non satisfaite : libqtcore4 (>= 4:4.7.0~beta1)

And with the deb file from debian testing :
    Erreur : Dépendance non satisfaite : libexiv2-9

And I didn't found it in lucid proposed.

How can I install it, from source?
