Bug Description

Using Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy Heron AMD X64.
Installed QtParted using Applications - Add/Remove menu. Click on Applications - System - QtParted. Error window displays immediately: Could not launch menu item - Failed to execute child process "qtparted-root" (No such file or directory).
A reinstall using Synaptic Package Manager gives the same result.

This problem has also been reported occurring with Evolution email. See http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=774014
