Bug Description

Title say it all. There is no spellcheck like in normal Qt or GTK+ applications when doing text input.

Ubuntu already ships with some SDK apps -- e.g. Friends -- so please fix this for 14.04 as this is a major regression.

Have you checked whether the problem appears with TextEdit and TextInput? These components rely on these two mentioned ones, and I guess the problem appears with those. Which means the issue is in QtML itself.

Sadly this problem is something what the UITK project can not address.

I'm not sure who/where this should be fixed, but I can confirm that TextArea does not have the right click menu spell check options either using Ubuntu UI Toolkit nor the upstream's QtQuick.Controls.
