Bug Description

On Ubuntu 13.10, qtcreator: 2.8.1-0ubuntu1~saucy1~test6, whenever trying to debug a project that contains C++ code, the debugger segfaults.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Start Qt Creator
2. Press Ctrl+N to create a new project
3. Under Projects, choose Applications
4. Choose the "Qt Quick 2 Application (Built-in Types)" template on the right
5. Press the "Choose..." button to continue
6. On the next screen, give the project a name and press the "Next >" button
7. On the next screen, press the "Next >" button to go for the default Kit Selection
8. Click the "Finish" button to create the project
9. Press F5 to start debugging. The project will build

Actual:

- When the build successfully finishes, the debugger starts and fails with the following message "The inferior stopped because it received a signal from the Operating System. Signal name: SIGSEGV"

Expected:

- When the build successfully finishes, the debugger starts normally

Notes:

- Going to the Projects tab, then choosing the Run configuration and unchecking the "Enable QML" checkbox works around this issue. But obviously then QML cannot be debugged.

The problem seems to be gone with the QtC 3.1.1 release. Please reopen with the detailes of the package versions and the environment if it is still a valid problem
