Bug Description

I have the -proposed PPA enabled for Maverick.

Trying to install libqt4-network fails:

$ sudo apt-get install libqt4-network
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
 libqt4-network : Depends: libqt4-dbus (= 4:4.7.0-0ubuntu4) but 4:4.7.0-0ubuntu4.1 is to be installed
Depends: libqtcore4 (= 4:4.7.0-0ubuntu4) but 4:4.7.0-0ubuntu4.1 is to be installed
E: Broken packages
$

This is because libqt4-network 4:4.7.0-0ubuntu4 (the current version) depends on libqt4-dbus (= 4:4.7.0-0ubuntu4) and libqtcore4 (= 4:4.7.0-0ubuntu4), but the current version of those two packages with -proposed enabled is 4:4.7.0-0ubuntu4.1

The fix is as simple as changing the depends to (>= 4:4.7.0-0ubuntu4), I believe.

This bug has been fixed for me with the qt4-x11 4:4.7.0-0ubuntu4.2 release into -proposed. I think it was just a corner case because of the 4.1 release being deleted, so 4.1 packages were automatically upgraded, but then once I tried to install a new package, only the 4.0 packages were available, which lead to unmet dependencies.

So now that the archive is all worked out, I'm marking this bug as Invalid. If anyone else is following this and still has problems, please file a new bug using 'ubuntu-bug <package>.

I confirm.
But, for me it's always a bug.
A warning message could be displayed if someone who has already qt-4.1 installed, tries to install qt-4.2.
