OpenGL mode make smplayer xv output no video

I am using ubuntu 9.10.
first, I thought this is ATI KMS issue. (I am using ATI X800XT)
Because VLC / SMPLAYER / xv output all are blank, change output device to gl mode, it can be display some thing like video mix desktop background graphics, only X11 output can be fine.(But very slowly)

this bug in the ubuntu forums can be find other people same one.

two, Varicad 2D workplace disappear, I can't to edit 2D CAD !

Because I thought this is ATI KMS issue first. so I change my display card to nVidia 6600GT. But the reasons for the above are same one for me.

this is a known bug in Qt.
please report it to the Qt devs (on their site or on Launchpad)
a workaround exists, you can find it on the Cairo-Dock's wiki.
