HardWare as follows:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
        Acer Aspire Revo Specifications:
        Processor: Intel Atom 230 1.6GHz
        Memory: 2GB
        HD Capacity: 160GB
        Graphics Card: NVIDIA ION
Networking: Wireless 802.11b/g, Ethernet LAN 10/100/1000
        Four-in-one card reader
        Ports:
        VGA D-sub
        HDMI
        eSATA
        6x USB2.0
I included the hardware list because I'm suspecting this lilliput hardware (Atom , NVIDIA ION)
On my other Ubuntu computers the same MDI-application work just fine. Also noticed that there are similar problems
when operating Qt-assistant on this harware.
1) Aftre switching from one tab to another the content of the page do not follow
2) In edit-widget the lines do not update properly - especially when deleting or inserting lines to the document
3) text cursor leaves phantom trails - ie you get more than one cursor on the display
Other information: System runs without any other problems, 3D desktop, randrrotation etc.
Best regards

Experimenting with the Qt-Problem

The first impression to me after yesterdays installation was that this
problem made qt almost unusable in this environment. But fortunately the
situation isn't that bad at all. With the other machines I've been
running qt applications with the default settings without bothering to
change anything. The situation with atom - nvidia -ion combination is
different. Today I experimented to change the Qt appearance settings in
Qt Configuration software ::
System > Preferences >Qt 4 settings .

There I changed the "GUI Style setting" from "Desktop Settings
(default)" to "Cleanlooks". After that change all the Qt applications I
use work just fine - No problem !
