Bug Description

Qpidd and qpid clients segfault on exit with a SEGFAULT on pthread_mutex_lock().
Running ubuntu 12.04 (development) on AMD64 arch.
Some dorky testing with some qpid client code in c++ seems to suggest a problem with a pthread_cancel() call when an program terminates.

We reproduce this problem.
And, we avoid this to move out ssl.so file.

$ sudo mv /usr/lib/qpid/daemon/ssl.so ~/
$ sudo /etc/init.d/qpidd start
$ sudo /etc/init.d/qpidd stop

Just a stopgap
