Bug Description

QMidiArp originated as a project by Dr. Matthias Nagorni. Eventually Dr. Nagorni excused himself from development of the program, but recently its codebase has received attention from developers Frank Kober and Guido Scholz. Bugs have been fixed, new features have been added, and the GUI has been improved.

Currently only available through cvs -z3 -d:pserver:<email address hidden>:/cvsroot/alsamodular co -P qmidiarp

CVS version is 0.0.3, while old qmidiarp package is 0.0.2

This bug is tagged needs-packaging which identifies it as a request for a new package in Ubuntu. As a part of the managing needs-packaging bug reports specification, https://wiki.ubuntu.com/QATeam/Specs/NeedsPackagingBugs, all needs-packaging bug reports have Wishlist importance. Subsequently, I'm setting this bug's status to Wishlist.

I am seeing a problem here this bug report is no longer valid as the package already exists in ubuntu so it needs to be closed.
After doing some research into your issue i see that the kxstudio team has the updated packages just scroll to last page and you will see qmidiarp listed so you can try it out.
https://launchpad.net/~kxstudio-team/+archive/ppa/

Also what you can do is too file a bug report against the package itself and tag it upgrade that you want it updated to the latest version from the website.

Cheers
