Bug Description

On one machine I call

./qemu-system-x86_64 -m 1024 -drive file=/srv/z.img,if=virtio,cache=none -vnc :1 -monitor stdio

on another, I call

./qemu-system-x86_64 -incoming tcp:0.0.0.0:9999 -vnc :1 -monitor stdio

then in the first monitor I call

migrate -b tcp:10.42.43.1:9999

This fails with a message on the second machine saying:

(qemu) qemu: warning: error while loading state for instance 0x0 of device 'ram'

This happens both with qemu 1.4.0+dfsg-1expubuntu4 and with today's clean pull from git://git.qemu.org/qemu.git.
