Bug Description

Binary package hint: qemu-system

qemu-system requires openbios for qemu running SPARC or PPC emulation.
openbios is still missing since some ubuntu releases. as a developer my work requires development on SPARC and PPC but ubuntus qemu-system package is broken in that case.
I don't know why it is a problem to pick the openbios pacakge available by debian repos and integrating it in ubuntu?

Because the Ubuntu archive has no mechanism for building Architecture: all
packages on builders for architectures other than i386, which means there is
currently no way to provide the openbios binary packages.
