qemu-system-ppcemb: "Unable to find PowerPC CPU definition"

When trying to do anything with qemu-system-ppcemb it always reports the same error:

"Unable to find PowerPC CPU definition"

There doesn't appear to be a way of actually defining which CPU to use (assuming this is the cause).
