Qemu window does not scroll

Bug Description
Run this command:
$qemu-system-arm -kernel ./Ubuntu/
And you are met with the monitor console (see attached screenshot). Typing "Help" immediately fills the tiny window that is created but there is no scroll-back to find out what the help is actually saying.
Making the window full-screen simply scales everything and is effectively useless.
(I don't even want the monitor console, I want to see the kernel boot, but I can't find any help by typing "Help")
