I am trying to boot a Mac OS 10.4 install DVD, but it fails with this error :
Boot failed: Could not read from CDROM (code 0005)

Thanks for reporting this bug.

Are you able to boot from other cds (i.e. an ubuntu or windows install cd)?

Is the Mac OS 10.4 cd for x86 targets? If it is for powerpc, then you need to use qemu-system-ppc or qemu-system-ppc64 instead.

Yes it is a CD for x86. And the same CD works with Virtualbox.
I will try with another CD.
