Bug Description

Hi,

The kernel udebs have to list some functional "Provides" in their control file depending on what they offer.

The qcontrol udeb which is useful for QNAP TS-209 and -409 devices requires the input-modules provides to be set which means the gpio_keys module will be present. I had to remove this dep temporarily to get d-i to build:

qcontrol (0.4.2-1ubuntu1) jaunty; urgency=low

  * Drop input-modules dep for now until the orion5x kernel flavour provides
it; apparently this is needed for the gpio_keys char device which is
checked via /dev/input/by-path/platform-gpio-keys-event- and accessed via
/dev/input/event0; the gpio_keys module is built according to
    CONFIG_KEYBOARD_GPIO (which depends on CONFIG_GENERIC_GPIO).

Please enable CONFIG_KEYBOARD_GPIO (and obviously CONFIG_GENERIC_GPIO if needs be) in the orion5x armel flavour (or all armel flavours as you see fit) and add the input-modules provide to the orion5x kernel udeb (or all armel kernel udebs).

Thanks,

Adding a qcontrol task as qcontrol needs to be changed back to depend on input-modules when the kernel is fixed.

So actually gpio_keys is only needed for orion5xx.

It was decided to yank the orion5x flavour as it isn't going to be supported. Marking the bug as Won't fix.

Still shows up in searches. Hopefully this will fix that.
