I assume this is http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=605356

could you check the following:
aptitude download python python-minimal (these should be 2.7.1 versions)
dpkg --unpack <the downloaded packages>
dpkg --configure --pending

and attach a transscript of these commands
