You have marked this as invalid, but it doesn't seem to be either user error or fixed.

So what am I supposed to do when this happens? I hit this problem yesterday and today when trying to upgrade to (currently unstable) Natty.

I maked this as invalid because of this mail:

quote: avoid bug reports about upgrade problems.

This problem was fixed last week for my by using

sudo apt-get dist-upgrade -f

(which was suggested by apt)

after this apt was working normally again.

I cant upgrade or dist-upgrade. apt-get cant install any package now. I remove python2.7 and python2.7-minimal and try upgrade but it did not work.
