Booted into stock Ubuntu 17.10 release candidate from October 15, 2017 and this error message simply came up.

I should also mention that this happened after i added the following kernel command line:
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="modprobe.blacklist=radeon radeon.si_support=0 radeon.cik_support=0 amdgpu.si_support=1 amdgpu.cik_support=1"

i wiped my system and loaded production ubuntu 17.10 and the same error still exists there.

it's more likely that this happens in some extension module. Please could you tell what command you were running?

it possible that this happened after installing the Sensors extension in Gnome, the extension does not work.

It is on the GNOME software/extension center so I assume that is a yes

looking through the original documentation above could this be due to the accountable2you program? I guess what i could do is turn off all my extensions and attempt to find which one is bringing up the error?
