Bug Description
Greetings,
Seeing as 16.04 (Xenial) is a LTS release, please update python-visual (vpython) to the latest version (6.11).
Doing so will allow vpython to work smoothly with Python 3, which will likely be the default Python interpreter in Xenial.
Moreover, version 6 of vpython removes all platform-dependent code, so presumably there are fewer dependencies.
Here are some of the more substantial feature additions:
* Log-log & semi-log plots
* Moving objects can leave a trail behind
* 3D text can be multi-line
* Better rendering of 3D text
* Smoothing of 3D objects
* Improved object extrusion
* New object materials
* Mouse crosshairs
* Improved handling of mouse & keyboard events
