Bug Description

In Ubuntu jaunty, while installing several programs, it tries to install python-support.

During the installation (with apt-get), I have this message :

Traitement des actions différées (« triggers ») pour « python-support »...
Sorry [Errno 116] Stale NFS file handle: '/var/lib/python-support/python2.6/gnome_sudoku/gtk_goodies/dialog_extras.pyc'
Sorry [Errno 116] Stale NFS file handle: '/var/lib/python-support/python2.6/gnome_sudoku/simple_debug.pyc'
Sorry [Errno 116] Stale NFS file handle: '/var/lib/python-support/python2.6/gnome_sudoku/sudoku_thumber.pyc'

Then apt-get stopped.

Thank you for taking the time to report this issue and helping to improve Ubuntu.

I am closing this report as invalid, because unless you are getting this error but are *not* using NFS, then this is a serious problem with the state of your system directories during the upgrade. Packages cannot be expected to do anything sensible if key directories on your system are unavailable.

Changed in python-support (Ubuntu):
status: New → Invalid
