Bug Description
Binary package hint: python-profiler
The package attempts to run the Python 2.7 variant of py_compile.py, which doesn't exist until the python2.7 package is installed. This caused a Maverick upgrade to fail, as the python-profiler package was installed and the failure killed the whole upgrade process. Work-around is simply to install Python2.7, but the package should check for the existence of py_compile.py before attempting to run it.
