There's Debian Python Modules Team that is open to Ubuntu contributors, please try to do changes there and we'll try to help you (and warn when you'll try to do things like this one) - there's also #debian-python channel where you can ask about Debian&Python related stuff.

Please remove python-multiprocessing from Lucid. It's a backport of multiprocessing module, already available in Python 2.6 and since Lucid will ship 2.6 only, there is no reason to have this module around.

Not blacklisting, blacklisting doesn't prevent someone from reuploading by hand anyway (which has happened here) and python 2.6 is supposed to land in Debian unstable soon.
