Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-app-install

There're many applications that doesn't show its icon in the description pane (the bottom-right pane), although they has an icon in the application list (the top-right pane).

I attach an screenshot to illustrate the problem. You can see the (in Spanish) "Capturar pantalla" application listed in the top-right pane, with the "photo camera" icon next to it, but that icon doesn't appear in the bottom-right pane (the description pane). It only shows a little square (I marked it in red, in the screenshot).

I marked it in red for clarity. It shows a little square, but it must be a "photo camera" icon (which appears correctly in the application list, in the top-right camera).

Sorry, when I say "top-right camera", I mean "top-right pane", in the screenshot description :)

No problem. We understand you - particulary since the bug is known for quite some time. It is a bug in the used gtkhtml rendering engine. We want to use gtkmozembed, but the python bindings do not work in dapper (it's a firefox issue, that could no be resolved).

But this bug will stay as a reminder.
