Bug Description

Binary package hint: python-event

When trying to import "event" module, this error is raised:

>>> import event
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "<stdin>", line 1, in <module>
ImportError: /usr/lib/pymodules/python2.6/event.so: undefined symbol: event_sigcb

this happens to me , ubuntu 10.04

This is a problem in Ubuntu 10.04.1 LTS (Lucid).
The problem is gone in Maverick.
