Bug Description

Please update python3-daemonize to a newer version (current one is 2.4.7). Version 2.4 was released on Nov 2, 2015.

There's a bug report open on Debian since March open about the same issue but nobody responded there: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=857883 (EDIT: that was fixed)

An updated package (version 2.4.7) is now available in Debian Sid (and soon also in Buster). I would appreciate an update for Bionic / 18.04.
