pycentral crashed with AttributeError in prepare()

Bug Description

Binary package hint: python-central

On my recently installed and fully patched (except for package "onboard") Ubuntu 8.04 Alpha 5
this crash report comes every time, I try to update the package "onboard" to version 0.91.
The installation gives the error-value 1 together with the following message (in German due to German
installation):
E: /var/cache/apt/archives/onboard_0.91_all.deb: Unterprozess pre-installation script gab den Fehlerwert 1 zurück

This leads instantly to the crash of python-central, according to the bug-report ...
