pycentral crashed with AttributeError in prepare()

Binary package hint: python-central

After upgrade from gutsy to hardy alpha 5, I get crash notifycation" python central closed suddenly"(this happen's after every reboot.Update-Manager broken(during upgrade) to Hardy,and won't upgrade now.Pardon my ignorance,but is this related?

RE:the update manager not upgrading-My solution-created kubuntu
desktop>opened synaptic in kubuntu just in case>removed installed
version of update-manager and desktop package>installed upgraded version
of update-manager plus missing update-manager-core & update
notiFier.That solved that error. However,I still get the pycentral
crash report every reboot,but haven't noticed anything bad happening
