Bug Description

Binary package hint: python-central

Just upgraded from 7.10 to 8.04 using update-manager -d. First error I receive is with update-manager, reporting that it "failed to install/upgrade: subprocess pre-installation script returned error exit status 1" (filed as separate bug). After rebooting the system, I received the notification that pycentral crashed.
