Bug Description

Since python-protobuf 3.0.0 landed in Ubuntu all programs using python-axolotl fail with "TypeError: Descriptors should not be created directly, but only retrieved from their parent.".

The problem resides in python-axolotl, which is outdated and doesn't add the _pb2 suffix to filenames as required by the new protobuf version.

This issue has already been reported upstream: https://github.com/tgalal/python-axolotl/issues/14
Unfortunately the original dev seems to be on a hiatus.

The python-axolotl package in Debian unstable (0.1.35-1) already provides a patch and is working good. Could you please updated the Ubuntu's package?
