I get this error when I open software to install proprietary drivers for my nvidia video adapter.

/u/l0c0d0g - The AAD (automatic activation device) that you are referring to is meant to cut the reserve closing loop so as to allow the reserve parachute pilot chute to deploy, however the activation of the AAD does not guarantee that the reserve will open (a) correctly, (b) with enough altitude to open, (c) without interference from any other factors.

/u/themeatbridge - Modern sport canopies can be deployed at any altitude, however they won't completely open until the air is dense enough for them. They will "snivel" as it is called until that time. I'm done a high pull (HAHO) from 14k ft. and the canopy took no longer than usual to deply.
