Bug Description
The python-mitogen package is currently blocking the python3-defaults migration [1], and FTBFS with python3.12 due to it's usage of the `imp` module. Unfortunately, the usage of the `imp` module in this package is non-trivial, and upstream is actively working on support for python3.12[2].
For now it seems the best resolution is to remove python-mitogen from the archive. There is one reverse Build-Depends-Indep that needs to be sorted:

I built pyroute2 in a PPA[1] without Build-Depends- Indep: python3-mitogen, so I am going to upload that.
