Binary package hint: pyrenamer
I was renaming photos taken with a nikon DSLR camera.
Ok for jpg file with exif info.
When I selected .nef files (by mistake, they weere in the same folder) the application crashed when I clicked preview.
I am using Ubuntu 8.04 and pyRenamer 0.4.1

Could you please try version 0.6.0? You can get a .deb from http:// www.infinicode. org/code/ pyrenamer/ downloads. php
Anyway, pyRenamer image functions on ly work (by now) with JPG files.
