Bug Description

Version: 3.0.0~b1-0ubuntu1

python-opengl binary installs broken symlinks in /usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/PyOpenGL-3.0.0b1-py2.5.egg-info/. Symlinks try to point to files in /usr/share/pycentral/python-opengl/site-packages/PyOpenGL-3.0.0b1-py2.5.egg-info, but this directory doesn't exist.

Similar directory /usr/share/pycentral/python-opengl/site-packages/PyOpenGL-3.0.0b1.egg-info exists though. Maybe the trickery in debian/rules isn't working.

Thank you for your bug report.
The broken symlinks appear to be the reason for bug 195270 and I'm marking your bug report as duplicate.
The fix I've done was to remove the trickery in debian/rules.
