Bug Description

As you can read from here http://bluetooth-alsa.sourceforge.net/build.html:

"Configure Ekiga
Due to the lack of proper sound devices enumeration scheme in current ALSA architecture, Ekiga is unable detect peripherals that are not seen by the system as hardware cards. This means Ekiga is unable to let you choose your bluetooth headset in the list. To workaround this issue a patch is provided for Ekiga (see patches directory), that should be applied to the pwlib library."

Are you able to test if this patch has been applied on the new ekiga/pwlib package in gutsy?

It doesn't seem to have been applied, no. At least I can't get A2DP working with ekiga now. (I can't select the bluetooth output, using aplay works perfectly).

Um, I think Launchpad Janitor is being a little overzealous: there was activity 15 days before the expiry.

I'm still experiencing what I believe are the effects of this problem with the newest Gusty: can't use my bluetooth headset with Ekiga. Unless I missed it, I don't see anything in the changelog to indicate that this has been addressed, so I'm setting the status back from invalid to confirmed.

Thanks,
-Gabriel
