Bug Description
Binary package hint: pwauth
In Lucid, pwauth doesn't have the setuid permission when it is installed. This means that it cannot access PAM to authenticate users.
From /var/log/
[...] AuthExtern pwauth [/usr/local/
When setuid is activated (chmod u+s /usr/local/
