pure-ftpd crashes if removed and then reinstalled

Bug Description

Binary package hint: pure-ftpd

hello,
i could not get pure-ftpd work,so i installed vsftpd (since i didn't know how to remove a package completely)
after that,it removed pure-ftpd and installed vsftpd

then i tried to reinstall pure-ftpd and here is the screen shot

This bug can be closed. It was a reported against an Ubuntu release which is no longer supported.
