Bug Description

you need a laptop for this test

1. Connect HDMI cable into your machine and select output to go through the HDMI cable.
2. disconnect the HDMI cable
3. Sound no longer plays from the analog speakers of the laptop
4. open the sound setting and click on "output" notice that the analog device is there but not selected by default.

I expect the audio to default back to the last available output interface (in this case the analog one)
