problem with the audio recording, reproducing heard very distorted with noise

I Have a ASUS K42F in Windows the recording is Okay the levels in the terminal of PulseAudio ajust and the problem persist or no record of levels OFF, the cuality of record is very bad the problem persisting from Ubuntu 11.04, 11.10 and 12.04
