I plug in Creative HS-1200 Headset and it hasn't appear in sound preferences.

Only ubuntu sound preferences doesn't.

Some futher testing - mine headset has volume buttons, and, whats strange, they work perfectly in ubuntu (changing volume), I'm thinking, that the problem is with sound aplet in unity - it doesn't see second sound card and doesn't give any option to switch it from standard to headset.
