Bug Description

Hi All,

I checked all the other similar pulse audio issues and they don't seem related. The closest one I found was: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pulseaudio/+bug/877954 which says it was fixed in pulseaudio (1:1.0-0ubuntu3.1).

If it was indeed fixed and not exactly my same issue then I think I need to log a new bug.

My volume is fine until I plug in my headphones. Then it's nearly muted its so soft. Only way to get it working again is to:

rm -rvf ~/.pulse/

and reboot
But next reboot it's broken again. If I change my sound profile in volume settings from Analog headphones to analog speakers my sound is restored.

Please assist thanks
