Bug Description
Ubuntu 11.10
When I plug in the usb sound card dongle for my wireless headset, it is not automatically selected for input and output sound. This means I have to open sound settings to select it or else run a script to select it. I believe this should happen automatically on plugging in the usb dongle or at least I should be asked if that's what I want to happen.
For now, I run the following 2-line script each time I plug in the usb sound card dongle for my wireless headset:
pacmd "set-default-sink alsa_output.
pacmd "set-default-source alsa_input.
