Bug Description

Was listening to music via Banshee, then the sound suddely became "corrupted" and vanished.
I tried to change sound device in sound preferences, but now the sound device list is empty.

The same problem happened again today.

A reply within a month would be appreciated, or maybe this has been fixed in 11.10 ?

Thank you for reporting this bug to Ubuntu.
Ubuntu 11.04 (natty) reached end-of-life on October 28, 2012.

We appreciate that this bug may be old and you might not be interested in discussing it any more. But if you are then please upgrade to the latest Ubuntu version and re-test.
