after logout sound does not work and have to kill pulseaudio to get sound back

Binary package hint: pulseaudio

in Maverick If I logout of gnome session and start unity or vice versa and play a song or a movie there is no sound. so I open terminal and type pkill pulseaudio and then start totem/rhythmbox again and tada there is audio.

I have pulseaudio 1:0.9.22~0.9.21+stable-queue-32-g8478-0ubuntu19 and other packages are also upto date.

and the problem exists with -0ubuntu20 too. is there any type of logs you might need?

I am also experiencing this in version 0.9.21-63-gd3efa-dirty. This happens only when logging off as the original post stated. Killing the process fixes the issue. Here is the verbose log as instructed.
